Fashionable Partnership
Trendy Texas boutiques team up to unveil exquisite vintage jewelry collection
New Dallas shop Mill No. 3 has partnered with Austin-based specialty goods boutique The Distillery for a vintage jewelry line like no other.
The capsule collection features one-of-a-kind pieces and stems from a longtime friendship between two stylish women.
“Collaborating with Mill No. 3 has been a dream on many levels. Not only are Mill No. 3 owner Morgan Pennington and I old friends from college, but [my brother] Clif and I grew up in Dallas, about 10 minutes from the new boutique,” says The Distillery co-owner Catelyn Silapachai in a release. “I’m so proud of the vintage pieces we’ve sourced and look forward to the store opening as well as seeing the response to our collection.”
Pennington says the idea for a jewelry collection seemed too good of an opportunity for the old friends to ignore.
"I loved the idea of both of us working together and supporting one another. Secondly, my goal for all of the non-apparel items in the store was for them to be local and/or unique to Mill No. 3. And third, Catelyn gave each of her bridesmaids a piece of vintage jewelry as a gift for being in her wedding, and I get compliments on the necklace she gave me every time I wear it. So for me, teaming up with The Distillery was a no-brainer," Pennington explains.
The collection, curated and sourced by The Distillery, features mostly vintage pieces in a re-purposed and modern style. Items from the collection range from $35 to $225 and offer a wide variety of pieces any jewelry fan will cherish.
“I know that women are always on the hunt for good statement pieces. And I think The Distillery jewelry is really a unique, more classic take on statement jewelry, which is exactly what I am trying to achieve in all that I buy for Mill No.3 — the perfect balance of trendy and classic,” Pennington says.
