Candles for All
The latest shop at Dallas’ Plaza at Preston Center smells the best
Designer candles are a thing, and if you doubt us, then you obviously haven’t been to Society in Bishop Arts. If you have, then you know the heavenly scented wax delights stocked at this boutique, owned by interior designers Pamela Jackson and Jeremi V. Headrick, are truly outstanding.
Now, Jackson and Headrick are expanding north and opening a branch at the Plaza at Preston Center, at 8383 Preston Center Plaza Dr., #140, between Matthew Trent and Kendra Scott.
The new 603-square-foot boutique will be nearly twice as large as its Bishop Arts sister, and it will stock all the same beloved brands — Kobo, Aquiesse, Tatine, and Bellocq — as well as other smaller labels, like Man Ready Mercantile out of Houston and Society's cult-favorite Jackson Vaughn private label.
The latter includes three lines: Jeremiah Jo, which offers scents inspired by the couple’s family members; the Proprietary Number Collection; and the Texas City candle lines. The Plaza location will also exclusively stock the entire Lafco New York line.
The new shop is expected to open in August.
