Room With a View
How to get a million-dollar condo view in Dallas for less than $370,000
It may seem unlikely that anyone could live on the 20th floor of a luxury Dallas high-rise for less than $400,000. But believe it: Unit 2001 at the W Dallas Victory Residences is on the market for $369,000, listed with Kim Hoggatt of Clay Stapp+Co.
The 825-square-foot unit has the open floor plan you’d expect; essentially, the living, kitchen and dining areas are one great room with an even greater view overlooking the city, through a bank of floor-to-ceiling windows. If you want to get a closer look, have your morning coffee or post-work glass of wine on the cozy terrace.
Of course, you also get access to all of the swanky amenities at the W, including 24-hour valet, private pool and fitness center, access to Bliss spa, room service, and two parking spots. The location is an amenity in itself.
Limestone floors run throughout the condo, and the kitchen boasts Miele appliances and quartz countertops. True, you might have to downsize for this place, but there is a beefy bank of cabinets separating the kitchen from the bedroom, a hallway lined with closets and onsite storage unit. Besides, wouldn’t you give up (almost) everything for that view?
The master bedroom is a good size; no worries there on your furniture fitting. Speaking of size, the bathroom is surprisingly spacious, with an oversize soaker tub and separate, roomy shower. Sure, it has a rather bargain-basement-looking vanity with only one sink, but that’s an easy fix.
