III Forks Steakhouse presents Sommelier for a Day
Each month, III Forks offers a Sommelier for a Day opportunity. Guests help select wines for the coming month by sampling six wines chosen by the wine director at III Forks, each paired with hand-passed hors d’oeuvres created by executive chef Chris Vogeli. The tasting begins at 5 pm.

Chocolate, Cheese, and Bubbles at Scardello Artisan Cheese
Scardello Artisan Cheese is bringing in a special guest to share about chocolate as the group explores each of these delights individually and tries some interesting pairings, too. Date Night: Winter in Paris Cooking Class at Sur La Table Knox Henderson
Parisian cuisine doesn't have to be difficult. Join the Sur La Table team and learn how to make pear and hazelnut salad with champagne vinaigrette, beef medallions with red wine pan sauce, pommes frites, and mousse au chocolat. Tickets are $79 and the class starts at 5 pm.

Tamale and Beer Pairing at Craft and Growler
Enjoy four tamales from The Tamale Company paired with four 5-ounce craft beer pours. Flavors of tamales include habanero pork, chicken tomatillo, beef tenderloin, and chocolate. Tickets are $14 and the event lasts from 12-2 pm.
Kids Class with Natural Grocers at Dallas Farmers Market
Who wants to make some apple cookies? The instructional class is free and takes places from 12:30-1 pm. It is suitable for kids of all ages.
Basic Sauces Class at Central Market Lovers Lane
Sauces accentuate great dishes and can elevate everyday meals. This hands-on class teaches its students how to make homemade mayo, hollandaise, rich brown sauce, crème Anglaise, and more. Tickets are $60 and the class starts at 11 am.
