Foundation Room Nosh
Dallas test drives menu and more for House of Blues’ new downtown nightclub
The once-private venue known as the Foundation Room, located inside House of Blues, is about to open to the public, with a menu of upscale snacks and drinks. Located within the historic White Swan Building, the Foundation Room has been reconceived as a public nightlife destination, to open in mid-March. Dallas is the test market for the House of Blues Foundation Room transformation.
If it works here, they’ll expand across the country. The new space boasts exotic Eastern-themed décor, enhanced lighting and audio, outdoor space overlooking the Dallas skyline, premium programming, and more.
The menu features craft cocktails and fancy lounge food. A Wagyu beef burger has roasted tomato, arugula, and aged white cheddar; it’s served with house-made potato chips.
Yellowtail tartare bruschetta comes topped with avocado, shaved radish, chili garlic, and micro cilantro. There's cauliflower tempura with aioli and ponzu sauce.
Cocktails include one with fresh cucumber, Grey Goose, and St. Germain; a tequila drink has Cointreau, fresh basil, and serrano pepper.
The menu comes from House of Blues entertainment. Dallas is the first city to witness the transformation of the House of Blues Foundation Room, and is serving as a test market. If it works here, they’ll expand across the country.
The public opening is March 12, but there is a private opening event with DFW media and influencers on March 10.
