Arlington's Texas Live adds new fan favorite restaurant: Tex-Mex

The fans get exactly what they asked for at Rangers Republic, a brand new Tex-Mex restaurant at Texas Live, the entertainment and hospitality destination located in the Arlington Entertainment District.
According to a release, Rangers Republic will function as a drop-in for before games and after games, and will even be open in the off-season. It opened on November 22.
Conceived as the headquarters for the fan experience, Rangers Republic was designed based on actual feedback from the fans. That includes decor, entertainment, and menu. The fans wanted Tex-Mex. The people have spoken.
Just inside the entry, visitors will see more than 50 pieces of Texas Rangers memorabilia including the signed batting helmet Ian Kinsler wore when he hit 6 for 6 with cycle during the Texas Rangers vs. Baltimore Orioles series on April 15, 2009; and the autographed Ivan "Pudge" Rodriguez's #7 Texas Rangers baseball cap.
Choosing Tex-Mex as the cuisine was in response to what the release calls "overwhelming requests."
The menu includes:
- nachos
- tacos
- guacamole and queso fundido with chorizo
- enchiladas with mole sauce
- elotes with cotija cheese, crema, and cilantro
- fajitas with shrimp, chicken and steak.
They're also featuring popular plant-based Beyond Meat burgers, tacos, and tortas.
In addition to the dining component, Rangers Republic will serve as a late night fun destination with dancing, singing with friends, grooving to the DJ, or sharing a team-sized margarita.
