Rock & Brews
KISS members shake up North Texas with rock 'n' roll restaurant
Two members of rock band KISS have expanded their reach into restaurants via a concept called Rock & Brews, with two branches set to open in Texas.
The first debuts at San Antonio's AT&T Center with a grand opening that'll take place on December 11, during the Spurs' game against the Los Angeles Lakers. The second Texas location will open in spring 2016 in The Colony, in the same development as the massive Nebraska Furniture Mart.
Founded by KISS members Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley, Rock & Brews is a family-friendly restaurant and entertainment concept serving up American comfort food and a wide selection of beer.
The menu includes wings, salads, burgers, sandwiches, and pizza. There are soft pretzels, garlic cheese fries, tri tip tacos, and hot dogs. Each location boasts regional favorites. Decor is heavily inspired by rock 'n' roll music and includes concert lighting and music-themed art.
"We spend a lot of time performing in large venues while on tour, and we are proud to be part of the AT&T Center renovations to enhance the fan experience," says Stanley, who will perform the national anthem at the December 11 game in San Antonio.
Other Rock & Brew locations can be found in California, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Florida, and Mexico.
