Tuesday, December 26
7 Days of Brunch at Ida Claire
Addison outpost for Southern cuisine will kick off seven straight days of brunch service Tuesday, December 26 through Monday, January 1. Continue the holiday season with comfort brunch dishes like pull-apart cinnamon rolls, ham & green tomato Benedict, and lemon-poppyseed pancakes. Brunch service will run from 10 am–4 pm weekdays and 9 am–4 pm Saturday and Sunday.
Christmas Lights, Chocolate & Sips Tour
Continue the holiday cheer with a Christmas light tour and chocolate tasting by Dallas by Chocolate. Climb aboard the motorcoach and enjoy hot chocolate and several sweet treats from local dessert venues while touring some of Dallas’ most spectacular light displays. Tickets are $63 ($53 for children 4-10) and the tour will run from 6:30–10 pm.

Maggiano’s NorthPark Holiday Murder Mystery
Italian dining destination will host a four-course murder mystery dinner with a who-done-it holiday theme. Menu highlights include stuffed mushrooms, chicken parmesan, and New York-style cheesecake. The $70 ticket price, plus tax and a small fee, also includes one drink ticket for beer or wine. Dinner begins at 7 pm.
Friday, December 29
Wonka New Year at The Westin Dallas Stonebriar
Family-friendly pre-New Year’s Eve extravaganza will let little ones celebrate early so parents can make plans for December 31. The Wonka-themed shindig will include a dance party with DJ music, food, and endless supply of candy. Tickets are $65 and the party will run from 6–9 pm.
Sushi & Sake Party at Central Market
Start the New Year with new sushi-making skills. Central Market’s Lovers Lane location will host a cooking class that will demonstrate how to make proper sushi rice and roll various varieties of sushi. The menu includes assorted nigiri, cucumber maki, spicy tuna roll, and a Seattle roll. Tickets are $75 and include two sake pairings. Class will run from 6:30–8:30 pm.
Saturday, December 30
Great Gatsby Dinner at LVI
Upscale bistro located inside The Statler hotel will host a posh party with Roaring Twenties vibes. The $125 per couple ticket, plus tax and gratuity, includes a three-course dinner, casino games, live jazz entertainment, complimentary glass of bubbly, and entry to Waterproof, The Statler’s 19th floor lounge. Menu options include oysters Rockefeller, bacon-wrapped filet, porcini and truffle risotto, cheesecake with raspberry puree. The event will run from 6–11 pm.
