The Palm hosts a spirited cocktail class for the holidays
The Palm in the West End is offering a holiday mixology class November 9, 6-8 pm, for groups, dates or all the single ladies (or men).
In addition to leading an informal education seminar on cocktail making, The Palm is pairing some of its drinks with appetizers like tequila-infused Blanco Señorita with filet mignon capri sandwiches and ahi tuna tartare tacos.
Also on the menu are the Pucker Up Lemon Drop (Ciroc vodka, Cointreau, fresh lemon and a splash of sour) and the Royal Ginger Orange (Crown Royal, Cointreau, orange marmalade, fresh squeezed lemon juice and ginger). The drinks are designed to be festive for the holiday season, Palm spokesperson Keri Larson says.
During the class, Palm mixologists teach event-goers how to create three cocktails and give them recipes to re-create the magic at home.
If you can barely make a Jack and Coke, don't fret. Larson says that the two-hour program is relaxed with a stronger focus on enjoying good drinks and company than on getting into bartending school.
Tickets are $55 and available online or at 214-698-0470.
