Mediterranean restaurant and nightlife spot moves into Dallas' Victory Park
A new restaurant and bar is rolling the dice on Dallas' Victory Park: Called The Goat Dallas, it's a Euro-Mediterranean restaurant and nightlife experience, opening at the Link building at 2601 Olive St. #100, at the intersection of Harry Hines Boulevard.
According to a release, it'll open in spring 2024.
There is a Goat in Lakewood, but it's more of a dive bar. This Goat was founded in Tulsa in March 2020 by cousins and business partners James Alame and Nabil Alame, whose vision was a modern dining concept with international flair and a dynamic atmosphere. The Tulsa location has earned awards such as Best New Restaurant in Tulsa, and Best Bar & Lounge in Oklahoma.
"Our vision for The Goat Dallas is to create a space where guests can indulge in exquisite cuisine, enjoy innovative cocktails, and immerse themselves in a lively atmosphere," James Alame says in a statement. "With our Euro-Mediterranean menu and upscale lounge ambiance, we're excited to offer a dining and nightlife experience unlike any other in Dallas."
They're joined by Executive Chef Ozzy Samano, formerly of Bob’s Steak and Chophouse and also a guest chef at the PGA Masters tour in Augusta, Georgi; and and Chef Pascal Sanchez, a Michelin-starred French chef, with more than 30 years’ experience working in and managing an international roster of kitchens in France, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and the United States.
They'll open initially for dinner, then add lunch and brunch, with dishes such as Lobster Organata, Dynamite Shrimp, and Baked Goat Cheese Dip, representing what Sanchez calls "a fusion of flavors and experiences."
There will also be craft cocktails, live entertainment including DJs and performers on weekends, and an electric violinist on Saturdays. The 7,000 square-foot space will comprise an upstairs private lounge with a DJ booth overlooking the first floor.
The release promises that the venue's upscale lounge vibe, delectable cuisine, and electrifying entertainment will make it a must-visit destination for locals and visitors alike.
