    Dallas' Dos Equis Pavilion first in U.S. to get Live Nation premium perks

    Just in time for summer concert season in Dallas-Fort Worth, entertainment behemoth Live Nation has introduced a new premium package at Dos Equis Pavilion, Dallas' top outdoor venue, that includes exclusive new box seating options and a new menu from a celebrity chef team.

    According to a spokesperson, the upgrades are in response to customer demand, and were timed to kick off the summer concert season, which is predicted to be on fire in 2023.

    Some of the upgrades are available for season ticket holders only.

    New seats
    Season ticket holders are getting a trio of new seating options with modern furnishings, elevated dining, and more space to entertain guests:

    • Rock Boxes accommodate up to 16 people, allowing more space to create a bigger and better premium experience for companies and their clients
    • Dream Seats are for intimate outings of two, offering unmatched sightlines and comfort in the best seat in the house, bundled with premium benefits
    • Open-air suites accommodate 10, an in-between size for businesses looking to entertain clients or for groups of friends

    Those premium benefits, explained
    Included with open-air suites, Rock Boxes, and Dream Seats, the premium benefits include:

    • Access to all Dos Equis Pavilion events
    • Premium lounge access, featuring a full-service bar, elevated menu, and private restrooms
    • Premium seating to host a range of two to 16 guests, with custom signage
    • Dedicated parking and private entrance for all attendees
    • Elevated dining and in-box wait service
    • Priority ordering for additional tickets
    • Dedicated sales concierge service during the season

    Music fans who don't have season tickets but crave that premium lifstyle can add premium lounge access or parking when making buying their ticket, be it via the Ticketmaster app or on Livenation.com. Parking upgrades start at $55, with lounge access at $150; actual price differs depending on the show.

    Food and drink
    The menus feature specialty cocktails by mixologist Sean Kenyon and elevated dishes created in partnership with celebrity chefs including Chef Tim Love.

    Cocktails are $22 and include

    • strawberry vodka lemonade with a hint of ginger
    • Cherry bourbon smash
    • Watermelon chill margaria with cold-pressed watermelon juice, agave nectar, and jalapeño
    • Smoky Desert margarita with tequila and mezcal, and prickly pear
    • Bacardi Ocho Mojito with Bacardi’s 8-year aged rum
    • A margarita made with Liquid Death Mango Chainsaw Sparkling Water
    • Garden party, a gin collins
    • Espresso Martini

    There’s also beer and wine (including a $250 bottle of Dom Perignon), with $10 and $13 wines by the glass.

    The food includes

    • Volt burger & fries on a potato roll
    • Plant-based burger
    • Short rib sandwich
    • Charcuterie board
    • Jumbo pretzel
    • Tequenos: Venezuelan fried cheese wrapped in a sweet pastry, with chimichurri sauce
    • Birria nachos
    • Romain hearts with blue cheese & bacon
    • Chicken parm sliders with garlic parmesan fries
    • Sausage roll featuring a Cajun link with peppers & onions

    Prices are $13 to $18.

    A BBQ platter for the table is $35 and serves 2-4 people with pork burnt ends, Cajun link, elote potato salad, coleslaw, pickles, and Hawaiian rolls.

    Dallas is the first Live Nation region to receive these venue upgrades, which are especially significant at Dos Equis, an older venue, but they've also deployed some of the same food and beverage upgrades at Toyota Music Factory in Irving.

    Live Nation also operates The Echo Lounge & Music Hall and House of Blues Dallas.

    A Nashville hot chicken favorite with Michelin cred has found a new roost in Plano: Hattie B's Hot Chicken, the fast-casual chain known for its spicy fried chicken, has opened at 2104 Preston Rd., in Preston Towne Crossing.

    The restaurant officially debuted Wednesday, June 17. It's the second Dallas-area location for the chain following the opening of its Oak Lawn spot in October 2024 — a relocation of the original Dallas location which opened in Deep Ellum in 2022.

    Announced in August 2025, the Plano restaurant occupies the former Boston Market building at Preston Towne Crossing. The 3,008-square-foot space includes a patio with seating for 50 guests, plus 56 seats indoors, says a release.

    The menu centers on fried chicken that can be ordered at a sassy range of spice levels: Mild, Medium, Hot, Damn Hot, and the chain's hottest option, Shut the Cluck Up! There are also two non-spicy options: Southern fried chicken and a Sweet & Smoky dry rub.

    Menu highlights include:

    • Dirty Bird Fries ($10.50) — Loaded fries topped with Hattie B's signature pimento mac & cheese, fried or grilled tender bites, and Nashville comeback sauce
    • Classic Chicken Sandwich with one side ($11.50) — Fried or grilled chicken with coleslaw, Nashville comeback sauce, and pickles
    • Jumbo Tenders Plate ($11.75) — Three fried or grilled chicken tenders served with one side, bread, and pickles
    • Southern Salad ($13) — Fried or grilled chicken tender bites, mixed greens, sweet corn and black-eyed pea succotash, cheddar, bacon, and cornbread croutons
    • Half Bird Plate ($15.50) — Breast, thigh, leg, and wing served with one side, bread, and pickles
    • Desserts ($4) — Banana pudding, peach cobbler, or a waffle sundae (add $1)
    • Drinks — Beer, cocktails ($8.50), and boozy frozen drinks ($9)

    Hattie B's was founded in Nashville in 2012 by father-and-son duo Nick Bishop Sr. and Nick Bishop Jr. and has since expanded across Tennessee, Texas, Alabama, Georgia, Illinois, and Nevada. The chain was named a Recommended Restaurant by Michelin in its debut guide to the American South in November 2025.

    They currently have seven locations in Tennessee, plus locations in Alabama, Georgia, Nevada, and Texas.

    "We are beyond fired up about opening in Plano," executive chef Brian Morris said in a statement. "Folks can expect everything they know and love about Hattie B's — our delicious fried chicken, Southern sides, grandma-approved desserts and cold beer and cocktails."

    Hours at the Plano restaurant are 10:45 am-10 pm Sunday-Thursday and 10:45 am-11 pm Friday-Saturday.
