There’s a new steakhouse from Houston headed to west Dallas: Called Winsome Prime, it will be located in the former Network Bar space at 331 Singleton Blvd. #100, in Trinity Groves.
According to a release, it’s set to open this spring.
Winsome Prime was recently rebranded from The Warwick to launch the restaurant’s expansion outside of Houston.
Introducing the concept to Dallas is Houston restaurateur Rob Wright. He’s previously opened restaurants such as Prospect Park, Rockhouse Southern Kitchen, The Warwick, and the social club and gastro lounge Chapman and Kirby. Wright co-owns the concept alongside Mazen Baltagi, Steve Rogers, and Kurt Ogechi-Agomuo.
Wright first announced Winsome Prime in a Facebook post on January 6 along with photos of the upscale atmosphere featuring chandeliers and leather couches.
"We were drawn to the Dallas metroplex due to its sophistication and attention to detail in its culinary and craft cocktail scene," says Wright in a statement. "Future guests can expect the superb culinary experience we are known for in Houston, but with an innovative approach to the dishes that have evolved with our brand."
The menu will feature a steak with a twist, with dishes such as Hawaiian ribeye, snapper Orleans, collard green risotto, chicken royale, and a selection of sushi. There'll be a full bar with cocktails and wine.
Culinary director is Jabril Riddick, who worked on the Winsome Prime team in Houston and co-owns Southern Jerks, a fried chicken restaurant.
By night, the restaurant and patio transforms into a nightlife lounge, complete with a bar area and music.
Wright has 20-plus years of experience, starting with the opening of the sports bar Prospect Park in 2000 with business partner Steve Rogers. The two also went on to open The Warwick in 2022.
