What: Lee Park Junior Conservancy Day at the Races wrap-up party

The 411: Members of Lee Park Junior Conservancy gathered at the Park Cities outpost of Nick & Sam’s Grill to thank underwriters, sponsors and in-kind donors for their generosity at this year’s Day at the Races, one of the city’s most anticipated derby-themed fundraisers. During the casual affair, 2014 chairperson Whitney Brune passed the torch to 2015 co-chairs Sarah Harvey and Brent Karrington, and outgoing LPJC president Greg Myktyn handed over the reins to his successor, Marty Cude. Day at the Races benefits Lee Park and Arlington Hall Conservancy, whose mission is to maintain and preserve these two jewels in the City of Dallas park system.
