What: Young Friends of the Wilkinson Center Silent Disco kickoff
Where: Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek
The 411: For every charitable event in Dallas, there is a celebratory kickoff to get everyone in the spirit. So more than 150 young professionals showed up to the Mansion for cocktails shaken in honor of the upcoming Silent Disco. And they took their cocktails seriously: Libations included the Passion Lilly made with Ketel One vodka, St. Germaine, cranberry and lemon. Guests also got to pick the brains of those in charge of the upcoming fundraiser — a first for the Young Friends — which features multiple DJs, drink specials and good times at Candleroom, set for October 24, 9 pm-2 am. The revelry benefits the Wilkinson Center and all of its efforts to help members of the Dallas community find pathways out of poverty.
