Touchdown Tailgate Tasting
Local renowned chefs will gather at Expressions Home Gallery for the first ever Touchdown Tailgate Tasting, benefiting Café Momentum. Each chef has been tasked with the challenge to serve up a dish with their spin on traditional tailgate food, featuring a set of pre-determined ingredients typically found at tailgates.
A sampling of chefs participating in this year’s event include:
- Anastacia Quinones (Kitchen LTO)
- Danyele McPherson (Remedy & HG Sply Co.)
- Jacob Williamson (Five Sixty by Wolfgang Puck)
- Nathan Tate (Boulevardier & Rapscallion)
- Patton Robertson (Sissy’s Southern Kitchen, Shelby Hall)
Local celebrities including TV personality Dawn Neufeld; Zagat Dallas editor and freelance journalist, Steven Lindsey; and David Denney, director of The Law Offices of David T. Denney, specializing in food, beverage and hospitality law, will be on hand to judge each of the creations, with additional judges to be announced. Attendees will also have the opportunity to vote on their favorite dish. Specialty cocktails will be provided by Leprechaun Premium Hard Cider and Reilly’s Whiskey.
Funds raised from the event will go towards Café Momentum’s mission of transforming young lives by equipping the community’s most at-risk youth with life skills, education and employment opportunities to help them achieve their full potential.
