The Authors Live series will present H.W. Brands, who will talk about his novel, Heirs of the Founders: the Epic Rivalry of Henry Clay, John Calhoun, and Daniel Webster. The book is about the riveting story of how America's second generation of political giants - Clay, Webster  and Calhoun - battled to complete the unfinished work of the Founding Fathers and decide the shape of our democracy.

The 7 pm event is free and open to the public. A 6 pm reception, by reservation only, is $30 per person and includes a copy of the book.
