Fine Arts Chamber Players will present their last Bancroft Family Concert of the season. The concert will feature young cellist Sai Sai Ding, winner of the prestigious Fort Worth Symphony’s Young Artist competition (2016) and many other accolades. This concert also features pianist Yurie Iwasaki.

The program includes Cello Sonata in D Major by Pietro Locatelli; Sonata for Cello by George Crumb; and Sonata for Cello and Piano No. 2 in F Major, Op. 99 by Johannes Brahms. The concert, which concludes the 2015 – 2016 concert series, is the 10th annual Charles Barr Memorial Concert. Sponsored by Eric and Catherine Barr, this performance honors the memory of their son Charles, a Dallas-native bassist with the Cleveland Orchestra, who died at the age of 31 in a tragic bicycle accident. The afternoon will include updates on past Barr Memorial Concert performers.
