Off Broadway on Flora Series: A Divine Evening with Charles Busch

This Halloween weekend, dressing up can’t compare to the fun of a cross-dressing Cabaret star who’s making a very rare appearance in the Big D. From the man who brought you Psycho Beach Party, Die Mommie Die and Vampire Lesbians of Sodom comes A Divine Evening with Charles Busch, a dynamic performance of unforgettable characters like the sort-of actress Miriam Passman recounting her brushes with stardom, mixed with Busch’s own memoirs of a more personal (and hilarious) nature. You’ll also enjoy the Cabaret show staples that are the soundtrack to this grand night of camp, in the tradition of John Waters movies and Hedwig & the Angry Inch.

Of the many drag queens Dallas has had the pleasure of hosting, Busch might just be the most decorated – including a Tony nomination, two MAC awards and a Best Performance Award at the Sundance Film festival. With a wig and a wink, this brilliant Cabaret show will make theater fans out of anyone.
