Chamber Music International presents Deborah, for Deborah

Chamber Music International presents a concert dedicated to the life and artistry of harpist Deborah Hoffman. CMI will premiere the work of Deborah, for Deborah, which was co-commissioned by CMI and written by Hoffman’s brother, composer Joel Hoffman. The concert features Nancy Allen, the Principal Harpist of the New York Philharmonic, violinists Cho-Liang Lin and Felix Olschofka, violist Toby Hoffman, cellist Bion Tsang, and pianist Jon Kimura Parker.

Also on the program are Dvořák’s Sonatina for Violin and Piano and Debussy’s Danse sacrée et danse profane for Harp and String Quartet. The concert concludes with the gypsy-inspired Piano Quartet in G Minor by Johannes Brahms.
