Dallas Central Library presents The Vinyl Frontier

eventdetail
Mad World Records/Facebook [https://www.facebook.com/madworldrecords?ref=ts&fref=ts]

The Dallas Public Library is celebrating the 331/3 birthday of downtown’s central branch in a most appropriate way: a party spotlighting its vast collection of classic vinyl records.

The library and Friends of the Dallas Public Library are co-hosting an evening reception to reintroduce the library’s album collection and to put some of it on sale. The event will feature free refreshments, a cash bar and a DJ spinning discs the old-fashioned way.

Thousands of LPs will be for sale, with proceeds benefiting the library, and parking will be free in the underground garage. Members of the Friends of the Dallas Public Library – and anyone who joins that night – will have early-bird access to the record sale, beginning at 5:30 pm. Memberships start at $25.
