El Centro College Art Gallery presents Trans.lation Vickery Meadow opening reception

H. Paxton Moore Fine Art Gallery at El Centro College will present Trans.lation Vickery Meadow, a group show featuring artwork, documentation, video, and workshops from Trans.lation, a collective art community located in the Vickery Meadow neighborhood of Dallas. A project initiated by Nasher Sculpture Center’s artist-in-residence Rick Lowe for Nasher Xchange in 2013, Trans.lation has continued in its third year with activities and initiatives in the revitalized Trans.lation storefront space.

Participating artists include: Afrah Alakhali, Ana Alvarez, Sahra Mohammed, Viviana Rios, Cynthia Saathoff, Alexandra Tomala, Vickery Meadow Junior Youth Group, Zine-X, and additional students and participants in Trans.lation initiatives.

The exhibit will be on display January 25 through February 17.
