eventdetail

FWSO Composer-in-Residence Donnacha Dennehy's composition The Vandal opens the final concert of the season, followed by two wildly different works featuring Norwegian trumpet soloist Tine Thing Helseth. She'll perform Haydn's Trumpet Concerto, designed to feature the low registers of the keyed trumpet, and Armenian composer Alexander Arutiunian's Trumpet Concerto, full of soulful melodies and virtuoso technique. Close the season with a walk on the wild side with Berlioz's Symphonie Fantastique.
