Former First Lady Mrs. Laura W. Bush, a champion for education, will be the keynote speaker at Friends of Wednesday’s Child Dream Big Luncheon, which raises money to provide a future of new opportunity for children in foster care.

Every child grows up with big dreams and education is the key that will turn these dreams into reality. However, the unfortunate reality for foster children in North Texas is only 41% will graduate high school and only 3% will earn a college degree. Friends of Wednesday's Child believes that these children, like all children, should have resources and opportunities to reach their full potential and achieve success both in school and in life.
