NorthPark Center presents Fifty Years of Arts and Culture

NorthPark Center will present Fifty Years of Art and Culture, a weekend-long celebration of NorthPark Center’s 50th anniversary and NorthPark’s long-standing relationship with the Dallas arts community. All events will take place in NorthPark's CenterPark Garden.

Saturday, October 17

  • Free Family Concert: Enjoy a beautiful concert under the stars as the Dallas Symphony Orchestra performs popular favorites by Mozart, Bernstein and Gershwin, as well as Beethoven’s magnificent Fifth Symphony. The symphony will be conducted by Jaap van Zweden ​and Karina Canellakis. Open seating in the Garden.

Sunday, October 18

  • Free Children's Event: ​ArtRocks! featuring concert by Gravity Feed and performance by Dallas Ballet Company. Children can participate in hands-on art activities led by important North Texas artists, including Annette Lawrence, Shamsy Roomiani, Suzanne O’Brien, James Thurman, Joanne Cervantes, Kelly Kroener, William and Thoele Sarradet, Nathan Green, and more. Child-friendly food and beverages will be available for purchase.
