The objects Muldez collects end up in piles in her studio and await re-examination; taking days, months, or years for Muldez to become aware of their aesthetic potential.
The natural materials Muldez uses often look otherworldly. Objects made by beings other than humans, like nests and cocoons, further impress upon her a higher level of craftsmanship which she seeks to achieve. This constant reference back to nature in her work is due to casual nature walks both in and out of urban settings.
Following the opening reception, the exhibit will be on display through February 24.
