Add to Other Calendars (iCal file format)Sung in Spanish and declaimed in English, Cupid's New Weapons of Love brings together theater, dance and music to tell the tale of Cupid's loss of his arrows to Jupiter and their return thanks to Diana. Instead of an updated version, this will be a recreation of the style, gesture and dance of the original. The production stars Mexican mezzo Carla López Speziale and Spanish dancers Jaime Puente and Yolanda Granado Requena, with support from period costumes and sets as true to history as the music you know of the Orchestra of New Spain.
