Pocket Sandwich Theater presents Death the Musical II: Death Takes A Harmony
Pocket Sandwich Theatre will present the premiere of Death The Musical II: Death Takes a Harmony by Scott A Eckert. The play is a follow up to his 2009 musical hit, Death: The Musical, which also premiered at The Pocket and was the winner of the DFW Theater Critics Ward and Column Award for best new play.
This time, there's a killer on the loose and no one in the trailer park is safe. It's 1982 in Egypt Oklahoma and a series of "accidental" deaths catches the eye of a Detective from England (Charles E. Moore). He teams up with the local Sheriff (Tony Martin) and Deputy (Michael Speck) to get to the bottom of things. In the process, he comes to know and care for the citizens of this otherwise peaceful country town. For the music, Eckert is joined by fellow songwriters Sonny Franks, Willy Welch, and Jimmy Barcus to create southern country rock score guaranteed to keep your toes tapping and a mystery to keep you on the edge of your seat.
