The Renaissance Dallas Hotel joins over 170 Renaissance Hotels around the world for the 5th Annual Global Day of Discovery. With breathtaking views of the city of Dallas skyline, the 10,000 square foot City View and Terrace will be transformed into an experience designed to celebrate all things local and encourages all attendees to eat, drink and discover.
The evening kicks off with the Renaissance Hotels Bar Ritual featuring a craft cocktail punch highlighting Austin Cocktails with tunes spun by DJ Ralph Will. Spanish sparkling wine vintner Freixenet and local breweries Community Beer Company and Deep Ellum Brewing Company will offer complimentary tastings. A cash bar will also be available. The culinary teams from in-house restaurant Asador led by executive chef Brad Philips and banquet catering team led by Chef Frank Quant will offer up tastings including a whole roasted pig station as well as the Asador famous charcuterie featuring local artisan cheeses, in-house cured meats and specialty jams and mustards.
Guests will also be able to shop local from artisans including Erin West Ceramics, White Rock Soap Gallery, Hearth and Hovel who will feature their unique succulent arrangements & planters, local chocolate favorite Dude Sweet Chocolate, Bisous Bisous Patisserie, premium coffee roasters Full City Rooster and GastonMade.
A special surprise performance by one of Dallas’ premier bands will finish the night off with a multi-sensory high-energy live performance beginning at 8 pm.
During the evening, guests are encouraged to share their experience via a SnapChat Geofilter only available from 6pm - 10pm on the night. Several other surprises are in store and will be revealed on the night, but one lucky winner will have the opportunity to win a one-night stay and dinner at Asador.
