The Sammons Center for the Arts brings back its popular Cabaret & Cabernet, an event featuring performances by more than 10 local cabaret stars and a selection of fine wines.

Cabaret & Cabernet begins with a wine tasting, followed by a showcase of some of the Dallas-Fort Worth area’s most talented cabaret artists, including Mike Bogle, WT Greer, Carolyn Lee Jones, Jennifer Martin and emcee Linda Petty, the 2014 Sammons Cabaret Artist of the Year. Each singer performs one song from the Great American Songbook, a Broadway show tune, ballad or torch song, accompanied by the Larry Petty Combo.

The event benefits Sammons Cabaret, a uniquely Texan combination of theater and music held in the intimate setting of Kurth Hall at the Sammons Center on the third Thursday of each month, February through May and September through December.
