Voices of Change: Man on the Moon will be a matinee performance with music of modern masters Joaquin Turina and Donald Martino, Vivian Fung's contributions to The Billy Collins Suite (set to poems of Billy Collins, former Poet Laureate of the US) and sound art by Mexican composer Manuel Rocha Iturbide. A popular evocative piece by Arvo Part will accompany a dancer from the local Contemporary Ballet Dallas. There will also be a pre-concert forum at 1:30 pm.
