Los Patos Poderosos are back to The Wild Detectives full of attitude. They’ve come on a mission to make people dance and they won’t take no for an answer.

A year ago, Los Patos Poderosos shook our backyard upside down. Nobody could resist the infectious Cumbia rhythms and the energy of their front woman Laura Otero on transmission mode. Not dancing was almost impossible. How wouldn’t we invite them again?

Los Patos Poderosos (literally The Mighty Ducks), is a Denton Chicha band. Chicha is a Peruvian music style that mixes Cumbia and Andean music with Psychedelia and Surf Rock. So expect some lush rhythms by their two piece percussion section plus some mind altering melodies on the guitar and keyboards.
