Texas bus driver gets caught bullying a crying elementary student

A bus driver in the small Texas town of Floresville is gaining national attention for her shocking behavior toward a child. A video obtained by KSAT in San Antonio shows a driver known as "Ms. Pat" taunting a crying student from Floresville Elementary School.

Ms. Pat is heard calling the girl "cry baby" before leading the entire busload of children in a mocking refrain of "cry, cry, cry." The children follow the lead of the bus driver, who also calls out, "I want my mama."

It's a disturbing scene of bullying, but according to KSAT, it wasn't enough to get Ms. Pat fired. After an undisclosed disciplinary measure, the driver has returned to her normal route, which ostensibly still includes Floresville Elementary.

"I expect that person to learn from that mistake, and we will continue to monitor that," Floresville ISD superintendent Sherri Bays told KSAT.
