Police release sketch of man suspected of raping SMU student

University Park Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a man suspected of aggravated sexual assault. An SMU student reported being raped at knifepoint at 11:15 pm September 7.

On September 15, the police released a sketch of the suspect. He is described as a black male in his early 20s. He is believed to be about 6 feet tall and has a tattoo of a crown on the left side of his neck.

At the time of the crime, the suspect was wearing a white California Angels T-shirt, blue shorts and white high-top shoes.

According to the victim, she was jogging about a half mile east of campus when the suspect approached her from behind in the 6700 block of Willard Drive.
