A glitzy new bowling spot has opened in Fairview, bringing next-level bowling that's a departure from the traditional alley setting.

Called Bowlero, it opened at 351 Town Place in the Fairview Town Center in November. A multimillion-dollar project, it took months to complete and transformed the 25,000-square-foot space — previously occupied by Splitsville — into a striking one-stop entertainment destination. "Striking" because bowling.

Bowlero used to be Bowlmor AMF. It's the largest owner and operator of bowling centers in the world, with over 300 locations, including eight in Mexico and two in Canada, specializing in corporate and special events, as well as league and retail bowling.

The company was created in 2013 following the merger of Bowlmor Lanes, an upscale bowling and entertainment company, and AMF Bowling Worldwide. Their portfolio of bowling center brands includes Bowlero, Bowlmor Lanes, AMF Bowling Co., and Brunswick Zone.

The Fairview location follows one in Dallas on Belt Line Road in Addison. Texas has 14 AMF facilities, plus four Brunswick Zones and two Bowlmors, including a location in Euless.

Bowlero brings a unique spin on bowling. It's known for its blacklight bowling lanes with lounge seating and huge hi-definition video walls, with a retro-inspired design that includes vintage Edison light fixtures, herringbone-patterned floors, and dramatic wall graphics.

Beyond bowling, Bowlero also includes a state-of-the-art arcade with more than 25 games including World’s Largest Pac-Man, Mario Kart GP DX, and The Giant Crane, plus old-school favorites like billiards, beer pong, and more.

Bowlero Fairview has 17 lanes, and an award-winning menu with oversized shareables such as the XXL Party Pretzel, a two-foot-long Coney Mega Dog, and 100+ ounce party drinks like the Dunk Tank and the Mega Mule that are made to be shared.

The ideal destination for date night, family night, birthday parties, and corporate events, Bowlero provides total entertainment for every occasion. The venue also features its own in-house team of expert event planners who can help craft your celebration.
