Voyeurism at its best: Look inside the most expensive Dallas home on the market

Our fearless real estate contributor, Candy Evans, first brought our attention to 4939 Manson Court, now the most expensive home on the market in Dallas.

Because this is the kind of home many of us will never get to see, much less live in, we have brought the home to you.

As Candy reports on Candy’s Dirt, the home, in the Strait Lane area, was designed by “starchitect” Robbie Rusch, with interiors by Ashley Astelford. The home boasts nine bedrooms, nine full baths and four half baths.

Plus there are all the luxuries associated with a home of the caliber: multiple formals, study, library, gourmet kitchen, three wet bars, a pantry the size of most homes, outdoor kitchen and living area, underground media room, pool, pool house, and a half-regulation-sized basketball court.

Oh! And the master is 2,200 square feet in and of itself; the garage, at 3,700 square feet, holds 14 cars.

Asking price, you say? Just under $30 million — $29,900,000, to be precise. And the house, listed with Hunter Dehn of Platinum Series Realty, has its own website, natch.

No more dilly-dallying. Let's get to the good stuff.

The home has more than 25,000 square feet of living space.

Every detail of every inch of the house was considered — even the underside of the staircase.

The home has multiple casual living spaces.

All of this luxury sits behind a private gate.

A spot to rest after you ascend the stairs.

What young man wouldn't be contended in this bedroom?

Storage and seating for the kids and their friends.

Imagine looking up at the ceiling every morning when you wake up.

Bathrooms are appointed as finely as the most luxurious hotels in the world. Maybe more so.

Every kid on the block will want to sleep over in these bunk beds.

An elegant space from which to work or read.

The basketball court is half the size of a regulation court.

What princess wouldn't want to fall asleep here?

With a serene spot to sit, there really is no reason to leave this bathroom.

A half bath more thoughtfully appointed than most master baths.

Every girl dreams of growing up in a bedroom like this one.

Another half bath that while differently themed is as elegant as the others.

A guest room that puts most hotel suites to shame.

Love this vessel sink and faucet.

Beautiful woods in dark tones create warmth throughout the house.

A stool gives little ones a boost at the sink — but no kid has ever had a bathroom this nice.

Curl up with a good book.

Where lounging in your own backyard is like a vacation.

A pool on par with most high-end resorts.

4939 Manson Court sits on 3 acres.
