Art Ball Patron Party

Dallas art patrons party at chicest construction site anyone has ever seen

What: Construction Couture: The Art Ball Patron Party

Where: The Joule

The 411: In advance of the Dallas Museum of Art’s Art Ball 2016: Art +Architecture, patrons gathered at the rooftop Terrace Room of The Joule hotel downtown for a party co-hosted by Forty Five Ten. The patron party had its own theme — Construction Couture — brought to life through yellow caution-tape decor, safety-cone floral arrangements, and servers sporting safety vests. Co-chairs Ann and David Sutherland welcomed special guest Jeremy Scott, creative director for Moschino, whom you may recall was responsible for the memorable gown Nancy Rogerswore to last fall’s Two x Two. As partiers mingled, DJ Lucy Wrubel provided a soundtrack as only she can.

Art Ball 2016: Art + Architecture, and the after-party dubbed Folly at the Art Ball, is happening Saturday, April 23, at the Dallas Museum of Art. A pair of tickets for the former are $4,500 and can be purchased at dma.org/artball2016. Tickets for Folly at the Art Ball, priced at $200 per person, can be had by visiting dma.ticketleap.com/folly/.
