Dude Perfect gang swishes trick shot from Reunion Tower in Dallas

Trick basketball shots are as old as HORSE, so it takes a certain level of ingenuity for people to take notice of your skills. Ingenuity like making a shot from the top of Reunion Tower to the parking lot across the street.

Thanks to those trick-shot Aggies at Dude Perfect, you can now see just what a 500-foot shot looks like from a variety of angles. Be warned: it is impressive.

Although the video doesn't include what must have been dozens (if not hundreds) of earlier failed attempts, the ecstatic celebration after the shot swishes through the net hints at hours of hard work before success was achieved. Bonus points to the guys willing to carry the basket as a ball travels straight for their faces.

The Dude Perfect gang first started making YouTube waves in 2009 with their trick shot videos that made behind-the-back shots as blasé as dribbling. Since then, they’ve been taking their skills to more extreme ends, including shots off of Kyle Field in College Station with Johnny Football, the top of a Ferris wheel and more.
