Despite the wacky winter weather that just won’t seem to leave DFW, it’s time to think about spring fashion. A lucky few are going somewhere tropical, pretending there is a spring break in the real world, while others just want a fresh look for the warmer months. We also have some options for those who want to spruce up the old abode.

Regardless of your inspiration to shop, this is where to spend your hard-earned money in March:

Arteriors
This store, specializing in unique and artisan-crafted lighting, accessories, wall decor and furniture, is moving its flagship store to the Dallas Design District. It opens on March 6, to the trade and the public. Arteriors currently has showrooms in New York, High Point, Las Vegas and Los Angeles.

Bel Air
This go-to shop for unique home decor, furniture, clothes and accessories has moved down the road. Sisters Shannon VanBeber and Melani McDougal have taken over the two-story spot on Lovers Lane that previously housed Wild Birds Unlimited. The new 2,300-square-foot store is packed with clothing that is “beautiful, functional and cool,” with prices in the $150-$350 range. The furniture and home decor are also on point.

Bullzerk
This Greenville Avenue accessories shop banks on the assumption that we have a sense of humor, as evidenced by the “Highland Park:Don't Act Like You’re Not Impressed” T-shirt and other gear that celebrates Dallas’ idiosyncrasies. Owner Dan Bradley prints everything in-house, which enables him to churn out new stuff all the time and keep costs in check: $23 per shirt.

Dallas Flea
You only have one day (March 7) to shop more than 100 local vendors all under one roof, at 2900 Bataan St. Flea founder Brittany Cobb has worked her you-know-what off to make sure that this pop-up shop features only the best local artisans and small businesses. Whether you are on the hunt for shoes, stationery, sweets or all of the above, you can find it at this fab flea market. You can also eat, drink and enjoy live entertainment. Admission is $5 (cash only). Kids under 12 are free, and dogs are also welcome.

Elaine Turner
This Houston designer recently opened the doors to her new store at the Shops at Legacy in Plano, and we can vouch for its fabulousness. From the decor to the fine selection of shoes, clothing and accessories, this shop shines in its new location. Manager Brynlea Cunniff greets shoppers with enthusiasm and has a keen sense of what will make them look and feel their best.

Giuseppe Zanotti
Giuseppe Zanotti’s first boutique in Dallas opens at Highland Park Village on March 7, housing all of the Italian label’s offerings, including the most sought-after shoes for men and women, jewelry, handbags, and clothing.

Kendra Scott
The popular Austin jewelry designer’s shop at the Plaza at Preston Center is now open, where Park Cities ladies can scoop up all of Scott’s covetable baubles. We are obsessed with the Kaki Baguette earrings in turquoise, which will no doubt be staple pieces in every Texas gal’s wardrobe this spring.

Louis Vuitton
As if you need a reason to visit this iconic shop at NorthPark Center. On March 19, celebrate the launch of the “V” art deco collection, which boasts the new “V” signature that is linked to one of Louis Vuitton’s most innovative characters, Gaston-Louis Vuitton. He originally developed this graphic design as his personal signature on trunks and other travel pieces in the early 20th century. The launch event goes down from 1-6 pm.
