Mockingbird Station — and its new pedestrian bridge that will connect the area to Southern Methodist University across the highway — is a short jaunt south, while Twisted Root Burger Co., Torchy's Tacos, and Ozona Grill and Bar are steps away.
The Shelby is conveniently situated between US 75 and Greenville Avenue, granting immediate access to both a major highway and the hip stretch of road that's been revitalized over the past few years. The Greenville Avenue corridor is also up for even more improvements through a proposal that the City of Dallas is currently reviewing.
And don't worry about all those tempting restaurants nearby. A 24-hour fitness facility, decked out with top-of-the-line cardio and strength training equipment, is ready and waiting for Shelby residents.
Or you can lace up your tennies and head out onto the Katy Trail, which is about to undergo an extension that will improve pedestrian and bike safety throughout the entire area. After all this exploring, it'll be nice to return home to your luxe condominium at The Shelby.
