MS Society supporters prep for On the Move Luncheon at cozy cocktail hour
Supporters of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society gathered at Grain in the Park Cities Hilton for an intimate cocktail hour. The purpose? To get pumped for the upcoming On the Move Luncheon, set for October 10 at the Ritz-Carlton, Dallas.
As servers poured wine and passed around bite-size appetizers, conversation swirled around the details of this year's event, which brings country music artist and MS advocate Julie Roberts to Dallas for a chat and a concert. In addition, luncheon attendees can expect an expertly prepared lunch by the Ritz-Carlton kitchen staff, raffle prizes, surprise bags for purchase, and, of course, inspirational speeches from Roberts and more.
Among those in attendance at the kickoff were Jennifer Evans, Brooke Burnett, Janie Robertson, MS Society reps Shannon Nelson and Leah Weatherl, Charlotte and Kirk Dooley, Paula and Scott Burford, Tami Ryan, Vickie McLauchlan, and Jaime Anderson.
On the Move is a nationwide program created to raise funds and awareness for multiple sclerosis. Each year, On the Move luncheons bring the community together to encourage people to support their family members, friends and colleagues whose lives are touched by MS and to educate communities about multiple sclerosis.
Tickets and tables for the luncheon, which is sponsored by CultureMap, are still available and can be purchased online.
