Milly pops up at Neiman Marcus NorthPark for A-list fashion fundraiser
Co-chairs Beverly Rice and Lisa Bhattacharya welcomed Dallas’ most fashionable partygoers to this year’s Simply Summer, Fashionably Fall hosted by Neiman Marcus NorthPark and Milly. The evening benefited Turtle Creek Recovery Center, a residential program wholly dedicated to serving those with co-occurring disorders of severe mental illness and alcohol or drug addiction.
As DJ Andre set the mood with customized tunes, posh supporters — including Maggie Kipp, Andrea Weber, Shona Gilbert, Nikki and Crayton Webb, Nancy Gopez, Kris Johnson, Emily Eisenhauer, LeeAnne Locken, Heather Centuroni, Jocelyn White, Rhonda Sargent Chambers, and JB Hayes — perused the Milly pop-up shop created especially for the event.
Guests took their seats along the runway so Michelle Smith could unveil looks from the Milly 2013 fall collection. Following the show, three lucky winners walked away with a special gift: a Makenna watersnake crossbody bag. Jealous!
Post-fashion show festivities included delicious bites from the NM Cafe, including mini truffle twice-baked potatoes, brisket and fried chicken sliders, mini popovers with chicken salad, empanadas, and assorted mousse cups and cake balls. DJ Andre pumped up the volume by adding a live drummer to his sound, while guests took turns in the photo booth.
As Simply Summer, Fashionably Fall came to an end, attendees received a Milly umbrella as a memento for the fabulous evening, because no amount of rain can dampen Dallas’ charitable parade.
