Judge a Bookstore By Its Owner
Brian Bolke says it's time for Chapter Two in Highland Park Village
To simply call Brian Bolke a retailer is a total undersell. He is an entrepreneur, philanthropist and a man with an impeccable ability to make great things happen in Dallas.
And he's at it again. He recently announced plans to open Chapter Two, the latest store under his fabulous retail umbrella. The bookstore, located in Highland Park Village, is set to open November 22.
The store will have its own storefront, but it will also open into Number One, Bolke's organic cafe and retail concept store.
Chapter Two will carry a range of upscale titles from Assouline, Rizzoli and Taschen publishing houses. With approximately 180 tomes in stock, you will find the best of the best when it comes to interior design, architecture, fashion or cooking — and those are just a few of the subjects at Bolke's new spot.
Chapter Two will also feature a variety of specialty and hard-to-find magazines, including international editions.
"I have felt the Village has been missing a bookstore ever since the Rizzoli store left a decade ago," Bolke said. "They really are the perfect gift, especially to yourself. We are thrilled to expand Number One's retail footprint to incorporate the bookshop."
