Suave Cowboys trio welcomes Dallas clotheshorses to Ermenegildo Zegna opening
With twinkling white lights in every tree, Highland Park Village is downright magical this time of year. To capitalize on that magic, some seriously fashion-forward athletes co-hosted a swanky soiree to welcome Ermenegildo Zegna to the most luxurious shopping destination in Dallas.
Dallas Cowboys Miles Austin, DeMarco Murray and DeMarcus Ware traded in their helmets and pads for Ermenegildo Zegna made-to-measure threads. The players — who know the importance of looking the part — offered guests a firsthand look at what this new luxury menswear shop can do to upgrade the usual suit and tie.
Attendees — including Christen and Derek Wilson, Brian Bolke, Lynn and Alan McBee, Barbara Daseke, Nicole Musselman, and Kari and Troy Kloewer — were greeted by an immaculately dressed waitstaff, who passed out champagne, cocktails and delicious bites in the beautiful yet masculine space.
As for the Boys, Ware was happy to share how he selects what to wear when he wants to dress to impress. "I choose my tie before I pick my suit," he said. "I also try to look for a more unique color or pattern. I chose the Zegna double-breasted made-to-measure suit [because] I am a big guy!"
While Murray says he goes for a more "refined, classic look," Austin is all about the two-button, slim-fit style that is functional "yet looks the part."
Zegna can produce high-quality, tailor-made suits, jackets, pants, coats, shirts, ties, shoes and belts in just a few weeks. Customers can choose from more than 500 different fabrics, patterns and colors produced exclusively by the Ermenegildo Zegna wool mill.
These days it looks like the men are having all the fashion luck.
