Sun to Moon Gallery will present Texas: Terlingua to Uncertain, an exhibit of fine photographic prints by Dan Burkholder, Charles Cramer, Scot Miller, Alan Ross, Jill Skupin Burkholder and R.P. Washburne.
Texas is a big state and there’s a lot to see. From Terlingua in Big Bend country, to the Texas Hill Country and the LBJ Ranch, to Uncertain, Texas on Caddo Lake, and back to Dallas and Sun to Moon Gallery on Levee Street in the Design District, this exhibition features a range of imagery, photographic styles and artistic interpretations. Gallery visitors will experience stunning black-and-white, bromoil, platinum/palladium over gold leaf, and large format color prints in this exhibition, all showcasing the state of Texas.
Among the photographers exhibiting is Alan Ross, the great Ansel Adams’ photographic assistant from 1974-1979, with two beautiful gelatin silver prints of oak trees on the LBJ Ranch along the Pedernales River in Stonewall.
Following the opening reception, the exhibit will be on display through June 20.
