Get those phone cameras ready, because one of the the most Instagram-worthy art installations is returning to Dallas Museum of Art.

Return to Infinity: Yayoi Kusama brings an iteration of the artist’s iconic Infinity Mirror Rooms to the DMA for the first time since 2018.

You know the one: All the Eternal Love I Have for the Pumpkins, the small room filled with lighted, spotted yellow pumpkins that appear to extend forever into the distance. Per the artist’s intent, only two people are allowed in the exhibition for each 45-second time slot, making this an extremely intimate — and popular — experience.

It will be on display May 7, 2025 through January 18, 2026, with DMA Members receiving early access to the exhibition during Member Preview Days happening May 1-4.

All the Eternal Love I Have for the Pumpkins is a boundary-pushing experiential work that draws on several of Kusama’s characteristic themes, including infinity, the sublime, and obsessive repetition, allowing the viewer to literally become a part of the art.

Tickets are typically released on the third Monday of each month for the upcoming month. For example, tickets for June will be released on May 19; tickets for July will be released on June 16. Since they tend to sell out quickly, reserving tickets in advance is recommended.

Flash photography, tripods, and selfie sticks are not allowed but small personal cameras and cell phones are, so be sure to bring yours and get ready to take the most epic profile pic at the DMA.
