Tarrant County College on lockdown while police search for armed suspect
UPDATE: TCC lifted the lockdown on its Southeast campus around 1:15 pm and has canceled classes for the rest of the day.

An armed suspect was spotted in the woods near the Southeast campus of Tarrant County College on Tuesday afternoon. The campus went on lockdown about 12:10 pm and college officials posted alerts on the school's website and Twitter account.
Police helicopters from Dallas and Grand Prairie reportedly searched the area for an armed person suspected of committing a nearby burglary and stealing a firearm. A K-9 unit is also on the scene.
Tarrant County College has more than 50,000 students across five campuses. The Southeast campus is located in Arlington. Students are being asked to shelter in place while police comb the area.
