Pet of the Week
Labrador mix Sister Leah is ready to run wild at her new home
We are happy to report that former featured pets Jasmine and Andy have been adopted. This week, meet Sister Leah, a 9-month-old Labrador/shepherd mix.
This playful, 45-pound girl is looking for a fun-loving family. Among her favorite activities: prancing about the dog park, chomping on squeaky toys and getting a belly rub.
Sister Leah also prefers a daily walk so she can explore the neighborhood. Hopefully her next home has a big yard, so she can stretch her legs and run wild.
This precious girl has been in a home with kids and other dogs, but she’s a bit particular about her canine friends. If you are interested in adopting Sister Leah, you can bring your current vaccinated dogs to the shelter to meet her.
Sister Leigh (#116799) was surrendered to the SPCA of Texas on June 21 because her previous owners had too many pets to properly dote on her. Come meet her today at the SPCA of Texas’ Jan Rees-Jones Animal Care Center in Dallas at 2400 Lone Star Dr., near I-30 and Hampton Road. The center is open seven days a week, noon-6 pm.
Regular adoption fees are $95-$125 for puppies 0-6 months, $75-$95 for adult dogs 6 months or older, $50 for senior dogs 7 years or older, $50 for VIP dogs, $95 for kittens, $75 for adult cats, $50 for senior cats 7 years and older, and $50 for VIP cats.
