A new luxury nail salon has opened at Preston Center, and its list of celebrity fans is longer than its row of 15 plush pedicure chairs. Bellacures, which has seven locations in California, picked Dallas for its first out-of-state shop.
“Dallas is the perfect city for Bellacures,” says Samira Far, founder and president of Bellacures franchising. “Dallas residents are stylish, classy and have high standards for their lifestyles.”
Not unlike the California salons' celebrity clientele, which includes Reese Witherspoon, Demi Moore, Ariana Grande, Tyra Banks and Megan Fox.
Customers can relax from the minute they walk into the 1,200-square-foot salon — not only because of its soothing environs but also because of its commitment to cleanliness, which goes beyond the minimum requirements. Tools are properly sterilized in an autoclave (similar to what is used in a hospital or dental office). And technicians only use new files, buffers, foot files, toe separators and other necessities that can either be thrown away or taken home.
Also, those famously comfy chairs are not whirlpool foot baths, which have been known to cause infections. Bellacures uses pedicure tubs with removable liners, which are thrown away after each service and replaced with a new, clean one.
Popular services include the walnut scrub or sea salt scrub manicure and pedicure and the “Man”-i-cure, designed especially for the boys. Prices range from $10-$85. The salon also offers waxing.
