Pet of the Week
Adoptable Macaroni the cat learns what love is at SPCA of Texas
Animal lovers, can you believe it? From last week, sweet Mia has yet to be adopted. Let’s change that. This week meet Macaroni, who came to the SPCA of Texas on August 16 as a part of a large transfer from another shelter.
He is currently sharing a condo with a few of his pals, and together they are learning to trust people and gain confidence.
Could this pretty kitty be your new cuddle buddy? Only one way to find out:
Breed: Turkish Van mix
Age: 2 years
Weight: 5 pounds
Personality: Macaroni can be shy, but after you coax him a little, he’ll greet you warmly. He is nervous about being petted at first, but it’s much easier if you have some toys. Of the cats in the condo, Macaroni is one of the most curious when it comes to meeting people. He is learning what love is like while he is at the SPCA of Texas, so he’ll be confident in no time. That said, he’d like to go to a quiet home where his new family will have patience with him as he gets used to things.
Vital stats: Macaroni has been neutered and microchipped, and he has received all age-appropriate vaccinations.
Come meet Macaroni today (#134428) at the SPCA of Texas’ Jan Rees-Jones Animal Care Center in Dallas at 2400 Lone Star Dr., near I-30 and Hampton Road. The center is open seven days a week, noon-6 pm.
