According to Travel + Leisure, Dallas-Fort Worth kinda stinks

In the September 2012 issue of Travel + Leisure, the magazine breaks down the dirtiest cities in America. Our two-for-one punch Dallas-Fort Worth earned a no. 7 ranking, beating out Miami, Memphis and Houston (in that order) for the smelliest city in the country.
Not bad, eh?
Hey, at least we're cleaner than New York and Los Angeles, and their reputations for refuse aren't hurting tourism numbers.
In 2011, the last time Travel + Leisure produced its "America's Favorite Cities" list, Dallas-Fort Worth earned its highest rankings for peace and quiet and affordabilty.
Look out, Dallas Convention and Visitors Bureau: When the coveted thrifty, tranquil and noseless crowd gets a load of this latest survey, they will head to Big D in droves.
